LACROIX positive impact strategy is based on the conviction that technology has a role to play in the ecological transition, provided that it demonstrates both its usefulness and its sobriety.
We therefore stay away from technology for technology’s sake, preferring a targeted approach that ensures each product contributes to the development of more sustainable living ecosystems through useful, robust and secure connected technologies.
As a core part of our strategy and operations, we have established 4 key commitments towards useful and eco-designed technology:
- Grow positive impact business,
- Design eco-efficient solutions,
- Run sustainable operations,
- Commit to our people & act locally.

The world must embark on a transition on an unprecedented scale in a complex geopolitical, economic and social context, and the coming decades will be crucial.
We believe that technology is essential for addressing environmental and societal challenges.
Our commitment to useful and eco-designed technology is a core component of our positive impact strategy.
Vincent Bedouin – Chief Executive Officer, LACROIX
Why is our positive impact strategy essential?
Every day, we mobilize significant quantities of energy and raw materials to manufacture our products. As a technology and industrial company, we need to take a hard look at the environmental footprint of technology, and focus on applications that make the greatest contribution to the ecological transition.
The main international organisations and scientists agree that digital technologies have a major role to play in the fight against climate change and, more broadly, in ensuring an environmentally safe and socially just space in which humanity can thrive.
