‘I am very happy to confirm the official launch of our new plant 4.0 in France, in Beaupréau to be precise. This new stage recognises the unity and the work of the LACROIX Electronics teams and our partners and forms part of the process for retaining Future Industry Showcase certification for our Montrevault-sur-Evre plant, first obtained in 2017.
Construction will begin next spring for completion in 2021.

Involving 25 million euros of estimated investment and a surface area of 19,000 m², the SYMBIOSE project embodies a strong sense of conviction. By collaborating and reaching out to advanced and ambitious partners, we are affirming our belief in the French electronics industry’s bright future.
By choosing Beaupréau as the location for our site and working with Mauges Communauté, we are underlining that our region, Pays de la Loire, represents a hub of resources and innovation for businesses.
Placing our teams at the heart of this change and taking into account current environmental challenges means we are affirming that tomorrow’s industry with be eco-friendly and people-centric!

I would like to invite you to our launch event which will be held in Paris on 3 March 2020 which will be an opportunity to present the progression of the project as well as our initial experience to all those who, like us, believe in French Fab!
In the meantime, the SYMBIOSE story continues, with the next stage involving the choice of architect.

I would like to thank all contributors and partners who have already joined us. The adventure continues, with many technological and human challenges still to be met as we strive to make this plant a benchmark for industry 4.0, a movement which is helping to reindustrialise France.’
